Cebu-based licensed nurses may soon get an additional P15,000 allowance on top of their salaries for two months to recognize their hard work in caring for Covid-19 patients.

Eight national and local foundations bonded together to form the “PBB SalBaBida Program” aimed at encouraging “hardworking” and “dedicated” Covid nurses in different private hospitals in Cebu.

In a statement, the PBB SalBaBida Program noted that there are still not enough nurses in hospitals, especially those assigned in covid facilities.

The program will donate P15,000 per month additional allowance to nurses employed at partner hospitals for April and September.

Interested full-time or project-based nurses need to apply at their respective hospital human resource department to qualify for the incentive.

Eligible partner Cebu private hospitals are: Cebu Doctors Hospital, Chong Hua Hospital, Perpetual Succor Hospital, UCMed, Velez General Hospital, Mendero Medical Center, Adventist Hospital, SWUMed, St. Vincent General Hospital, ARCHospitals, and Vicente Gullas Memorial Hospital. Ryan Sorote
