Caritas Philippines national director Bishop Jose Colin Bagaforo appealed for help for the provinces affected by the earthquake last July 27.

In a video message, Bagaforo said that the humanitarian, development and advocacy arm of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP).is working with other social action centers in the country in rapid assessment and initial emergency response efforts.

“Ipagpatuloy pa natin ang pagmamalasakit, pagbabahagi, at pag-aalay-kapwa,” said Bagaforo, who is also the bishop of the Diocese of Kidapawan.
