Businessman Ramon “RJ” Jacinto has been named undersecretary of information and communications technology, Malacañang announced on Tuesday.

Palace spokesman Harry Roque said Jacinto’s term would be until May 22, 2022.

Jacinto’s appointment came after Duterte accepted the resignation of Undersecretary Eliseo Rio, who had been at odds with Secretary Gregorio Honasan II.
