BTS brought the house down with performances of phenomenal hits “Make It Right” and “Boy With Luv” at Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve at Times Square in New York City.

Ringing the New Year with host Ryan Seacrest and artists like Alanis Morisette, Sam Hunt and Post Malone — and millions of people in attendance — the Korean septet turned the event into a BTS concert with ARMYs in full support both in-house and online. Hashtags #BTSatTimeSquare and #BTSxRockinEve trended worldwide with over 2 million tweets hours before the anticipated performance.

This, however, was not their first time performing at the iconic annual celebration. In 2018, they performed a pre-recorded stage of DNA in front of millions of people in attendance. This year, they set another milestone by performing live as one of the major acts. Members of the BTS fanbase, ARMYs, came in full force to support the boys.

BTS went back on-stage to witness the traditional ball drop to officially welcome the new year. Talking to Ryan Seacrest, BTS leader RM said that this was the show that they grew up watching.

One by one, the members took to Twitter to greet ARMYs a Happy New Year.

BTS were having the time of their lives entering the New Year, and here are some of the highlights:
