Seven-piece K-pop boy group BTS is now among the world’s highest-paid entertainers, with estimated annual earnings of $57 million, according to Forbes magazine.

Forbes said BTS, which debuted at 43rd on the annual listing, has become the highest-paid boy band and K-pop act.

BTS, dubbed the “biggest boy band in the world” amid a highly successful American and European “Love Yourself” stadium tour over the summer, figured in the list along with Taylor Swift ($185 million), Kylie Jenner ($170 million), Kanye West ($150 million), Lionel Messi ($127 million) and Ed Sheeran ($110 million).

2019 has been a stellar year for BTS, which became the first Korean act to perform on Saturday Night Live and was given the Beatles treatment in the American late-night show circuit.

BTS also launched its comeback album “Map of the Soul: Persona,” which topped the Billboard 200 in April, and a mobile game with is own original soundtrack, collaborating with artists like Halsey and Charli XCX. (PressONE.ph)
