Board examinations for 32 professions scheduled in the first half were cancelled, most of which were moved to the second half of the year, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said on Friday (July 16).

Board examinations for eight professions, which are only conducted a few times a year, were moved next year due to the absence of testing sites for the second half of the year, said PRC Chairman Teofilo Pilando Jr.

These are examinations for interior designers, landscape architects, master plumbers, guidance counselors, environmental planners, psychologists and psychometricians, and real estate brokers.

PRC prioritized the board examinations for health and allied related professions to help the Covid-19 response of the national government, said Pilando.

Due to the limitations in travelling, Pilando also said that PRC had added testing centers in different parts of the country. Ariel Jack Tejado II
