Phenomenal girl group BLACKPINK secured major awards at the recently concluded MAMA Awards 2022 held in Osaka, Japan.
The YG Entertainment girl group won the “Best Female Group” award, beating other girl groups, such as (G)I-DLE, aespa, ITZY, TWICE, and Red Velvet. This was the second time the group won the Best Female Group award in MAMA. The first one was in 2020.
BLACKPINK also won the Worldwide Fans’ Choice award along with other groups like BTS and Seventeen.
The girl group also won “Best Music Video” award for their global hit “Pink Venom.”
BLACKPINK consists of JENNIE, JISOO, LISA, and ROSÉ.
