BLACKPINK made history as the first K-pop act to headline the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival this year.

The South Korean phenomenal girl group was confirmed to be one of the famous music festival’s main acts in social media posts released by its organizer, Los Angeles-based promoter Goldenvoice, on Jan. 11.

The group is scheduled to wow the Coachella stage on April 15 and 22 at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, California.

This will be BLACKPINK’s first time to headline the event after performing in 2019 as part of the second line of artists.

Other stars are also joining the girls in Coachella’s main act lineup, such as Bad Bunny and Frank Ocean.
