Global phenomenal girl group BLACKPINK won Female Group of the Year, and other awards at the Circle (Gaon) Chart Music Awards last Feb. 18.
The group also received digital music awards. The said awards were given to the 12 songs with the highest digital downloads and streams for each month from December 2021 to November 2022, while the physical album awards were awarded to the four albums with the highest sales for each quarter during the same period.
BLACKPINK’s “Pink Venom” won Artist of the Year for the month of August, while its title track “Shut Down” won Artist of the Year for the month of September.
The group also won the most coveted Female Group of the Year, beating other girl groups, such as TWICE.
Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa are set to perform on March 25 and 26 at the Philippine Arena.
