A bishop has hit President Duterte’s lack of legacy with just a year before he leaves office next year.

“Ang biggest legacy ay hindi ko alam, may legacy ba siya?”  Bishop Broderick Pabillo, apostolic administrator of the Manila archdiocese, told PressOne.PH.

“Ang maalaala kong maiiwan niya yung maraming pinatay,” Pabillo said.

A report by the UN Human Rights Council (HRC) said more than 27,000 people have been killed extrajudicially under Duterte’s rule.

Pabillo said he was not sure if the deaths of thousands of Filipinos can be seen as a legacy.

“I don’t know if that can be seen as a legacy, ang daming pinatay,” the outspoken prelate said.

Pabillo also criticized Duterte for swearing in his late-night broadcasts.

“Tsaka yung pagmumura niya sa kanyang mga pahayag, yun yung maalala ko,” Pabillo said. Dominic Emanuel Apolona
