Seven out of 10 Filipino Catholics pray at least once daily, a Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey has found.

According to the SWS 2022 fourth-quarter survey conducted from Dec. 10 to 14, 2022, 35 percent of Filipino Catholics pray several times a day, while 34 percent pray once a day.

The survey also found that 10 percent pray several times a week, while 6 percent pray once every week.

Thirty-eight percent of the respondents said they attended religious services at least once weekly, 24 percent attended two or more times a month, 20 percent attended once a month, 9 percent attended services two to 11 times a year, and 7 percent attend once a year.

Ninety-three percent of those who attended religious services said they did so in-person, while three watched religious services online or on TV.

Two percent attended services both in-person and online or via TV.

The survey had 1,200 adult respondents with a sampling error margin of ± 2.8 percent. John Ezekiel J. Hirro
