A magnitude 5.2 quake rocked Davao Occidental Saturday morning.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), the quake struck at 07:56 AM. 

Its epicenter was at 159 kilometers southeast of Don Marcelino town, Davao Occidental. 

It struck at a depth of 48 kilometers and was tectonic in origin. 

No damage to property was reported but aftershocks are to be expected according to Phivolcs. – Rommel F. Lopez
