A magnitude 4.7 quake rocked Negros Occidental at dawn on Monday, June 22.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake’s epicenter was located 16 km North of La Carlota City, Negros Occidental. The quake was tectonic in origin and struck at a depth of 10 kms at 2:06:22 AM.
Intensity IV was felt at the epicenter of La Carlota City, Negros Occidental. Intensity III was recorded at Bacolod City and Bago City, Negros Occidental. Intensity II was recorded in Canlaon City, Negros Oriental.

Intensity IV – La Carlota City, Negros Occidental
Intensity III – Bago City, Negros Occidental; Bacolod City
Intensity I – Iloilo City
