Vice President Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo has tested negative for Covid-19.

In a Facebook post, the vice president said she had completed her quarantine and yielded a negative RT-PCR test.

Robredo underwent isolation after her daughter Tricia and a security staffer contracted Covid-19.

“Today, we are all finally reunited after I completed my quarantine and got a negative RT-PCR. Tricia survived a bout with Covid (stayed in an isolation facility for several days) and dengue (which she had while on quarantine after isolation). Double whammy for her but she’s okay now. Thanks God,” the vice president said.

Robredo said she had exhibited Covid-19 symptoms, including tonsilitis, high fever and chills.

Robredo’s two other daughters, Aika and Jillian, also tested negative for Covid-19.

The vice president earlier announced that operations at her campaign headquarters would temporarily stop due to increasing Covid-19 cases in Metro Manila.

However, she assured that her office would continue providing aid to families affected by typhoon “Odette.” John Ezekiel J. Hirro
