The Philippines on Wednesday night received 866,970 of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine.
According to the National Task Force (NTF) Against Covid-19, the doses were procured by the national government.
Asst. Secretary Wilben Mayor, who was among officials who welcomed the doses, said the jabs would help the Philippines ramp up its vaccine rollout and economic recovery.
The country has received 118,112,370 Covid-19 vaccine jabs since February.
According to the NTF, the country has administered 65,764,376 vaccine doses as of Nov. 9.
More than 35 million Filipinos have received their first dose, while over 30 million individuals have been fully vaccinated as of Nov. 9.
