The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said a total of 22,700 individuals or 6,260 families have been affected by Severe Tropical Storm Neneng.

The NDRRMC said in its report that the affected population was mostly located in 86 barangays in Ilocos, Cagayan, and Cordillera.

Moreover, 678 people or 191 families were living in 30 evacuation centers, while 248 people or 77 families were staying in other places.

Meanwhile, a total of 3,702 people or 1,174 families were preemptively sent to evacuation centers in Cagayan due to the threat of Neneng.

The NDRMMC said 59 flooding incidents and a landslide were reported in Cagayan.

Power outages were also experienced in 25 cities and municipalities in Ilocos and Cagayan. The power supply in three areas have been restored.

Neneng left the Philippine area of responsibility at 8 p.m. on Sunday, state weather agency PAGASA said.
