Around 10,000 policemen are set to be deployed in Metro Manila to secure the observation of Undas or All Saints’ Day on November 1, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) said Monday.
“We have 10,000 police personnel who will be deployed all over Metro Manila sa 80 na sementeryo and 24 columbariums,” NCRPO spokesperson Police Lieutenant Colonel Dexter Versola said via an interview on GMA News.
Other than the policemen, force multipliers would be tapped, including personnel from local government units, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), and the Department of Health, among others.
