Over 100 percent of Metro Manila’s target population for Covid-19 vaccination have received at least one vaccine dose, Malacañang said on Tuesday.

Acting Palace spokesman Karlo Nograles said Metro Manila had 10,332,227 partially vaccinated individuals as of Nov. 22.

Ninety-four percent of Metro Manila’s target population have completed their vaccination, Nograles added.

This was equal to 9,193,744 Metro Manilans fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

The OCTA Research Team on Tuesday said the seven-day average of Covid-19 cases in the capital region the past week had decreased to less than 300 for the first time since Jan. 2 to 8, 2021.

“Based on current trends, the seven-day average could decrease to less than 200 by the first week of December,” OCTA fellow Guido David said.

Nograles said that the country had administered more than 76.5 million Covid-19 vaccine doses.

“Sa bilang na ito, nasa 43.88 percent or almost 33.8 million na ang fully vaccinated,” he added. John Ezekiel J. Hirro
